What is mediahub.exe?
The mediahub.exe process is associated with the Sonic Digital Media LE v7 sofware. This software is used for playing audio and video files as well as for burning CDs/DVDs.
Besides Sonic, the mediahub.exe process is also associated with multimedia products of another company called, Roxio. Often, Sonic Digital Media LE v7 comes preinstalled on computers, especially on systems manufactured by Dell and Acer.

These errors occur due to incompatibility issues between Dell’s copy of Sonic Digital Media with that of Windows Media Player 11.

Sonic has released a patch, which Dell users can download and install to repair the Mediahub.exe errors. To achieve this, perform the following steps:
Notes: The following patch applies only to “Dell computers” that use Windows XP (SP2) and have Sonic Digital Media Version SC 204 installed. If you do not use a Dell computer or have a different Windows operating system installed on your Dell machine, then do not perform the below steps. Also, if you are not using Digital Media Version SC 204 then do not download the fix listed below.
