The nmindexstoresvr.exe process is a part of the Nero Scout Utility. Nero Scout is a small utility that is included in all versions of Nero Ultra Edition from version 7 onwards.   3. Clear the Enable Nero Scout check box.

Note: According to Nero, it’s not possible to remove Nero Scout with Nero 7 or Nero 8. However with Nero 9 there is an option to have Nero Scout removed through custom installation.
