Sprtsvc.exe ? What Is It?
The sprtsvc.exe process, also known as SupportSoft Agent Service, is used to provide automated support to SupportSoft products, such as SupportSoft sprtsvc, ADP Smart Desktop Agent, and SupportSoft Sprocket Service.

- Remove sprtsvc.exe from your startup programs.
- Terminate sprtsvc.exe process.
- Uninstall the SupportSoft Agent program.
Remove sprtsvc.exe from the startup programs
To remove sprtsvc.exe from your startup programs, clear the SupportSoft Agent entry under the Startup tab in the System Configuration Utility dialog box.

Terminate sprtsvc.exe process
To stop the sprtsvc.exe process, perform the following steps:
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Del.
- Click the Processes tab in the Windows Task Manager window.
- Select sprtsvc.exe and click the End Process button.
Remove SupportSoft Agent
To remove the SupportSoft Agent program, perform the steps listed below:
- Click Start and select Control Panel.
- Next, double-click on Add or Remove Programs icon.
- In the Add or Remove Programs window, select SupportSoft Agent and click the Remove/Uninstall button.
